11 Years

Yesterday, Jeff and I celebrated 11 years together. Since it’s a little difficult to actually go somewhere to celebrate, it consisted of us staying home and spending most of the day together. We watched a movie and got some things done around the house.

The main project we finished is our Patio Swing. Between damaged parts, poor instructions, and things going wrong on nearly every step, and lots of swearing by Jeff, it took us months to finally get the damn thing finished.

As you can tell from the picture, parts of it are crooked. But, you know what? We can sit on it without it collapsing, and I’m gonna call that a win.

After all of the trouble, Jeff said I better “use this damn thing every day (weather permitting)”. So…I better use it every day!

I already used it the other day (only the roof part was missing) to sit outside and read for awhile and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So, I think it will be ok!
