Mask Dreams

I don’t think I am the only one who has been having dreams where I am in a public space and I don’t have a mask, which makes me freak out in the dream. I seem to have these dreams a few times a week, at least.

I know my husband, Jeff has similar dreams and I have seen other people discussing masking dreams on social media.

These dreams make sense since mask-wearing is a pretty big deal these days and if I were actually in the situations in my dreams, I would freak out in real-life if I didn’t have a mask.

I have had similar dreams for years about wearing glasses and having issues with my teeth.

Glasses Dreams

Ever since I got Lasik in March of 2018, I have had dreams where I am wearing glasses again because my eyesight has gotten poor. I’m always upset in the dream because my Lasik didn’t fix my eyes for long enough. Even though that’s not really how it works.

Days after Lasik with mascara and eye-liner. You can also see some of the redness in my eyes from the suctioning.

Teeth Dreams

I’ve had dreams about my teeth falling out or chipping for many years. I had “fillers” put on some of my teeth back in 2012 before our wedding. Before that, I had badly chipped teeth because I grind my teeth at night (thanks anxiety!).

I have to wear a mouth guard every night so that I don’t grind my teeth down again. Sometimes I dream that I have broken or lost my mouthguard.

I’ve chipped the filler on my front tooth multiple times in real life and had to go in and get it re-filled. So, the teeth chipping dreams are some of the worst, because they are based on situations that have happened.
