First Haircut Since COVID
Haircut
I got my first haircut since COVID “started” over a year ago! I decided a long time ago that I would need to find a new stylist and salon. I’m not going to get into my reasoning for switching things up because it’s personal and this is technically a public “forum” (despite lack of readers, haha). It wasn’t a fun decision to make since I was with my previous stylist for years. Going to her was like a therapy session that included better hair at the end.
Hype
I chose to try out Hype Hair Salon in Green Bay. I read good reviews of it in the Green Bay Area COVID Safety group I follow on Facebook, so I knew they were taking COVID precautions.
I sat in the parking lot until I got notification via text (and email) that my stylist was ready for me. They apparently only recently re-opened their waiting room to clients and I only sat for 2 minutes tops.
I got a shampoo and a quick trim to get rid of my split ends and even out some of the layers in my hair.
TJ Maxx
It felt good to get out and do another normal thing. I also went to TJ Maxx for the first time in about a year since I was in the area. I was good and didn’t buy too much stuff for myself, but I did get some stuff for the pets! I almost bought a cat “hammock” thingy, but I decided against it. I am regretting that now and I may go back and buy it after all!
