Minnesota (Part 3)
Family Day
Our third day in Minnesota was a family day. We went to my cousin Kim’s house to celebrate Kim’s son Carter’s birthday and her husband Jason’s birthday. Carter was just a little kid at our wedding almost 9 years ago. Now he’s 20 and looks like this:
He has released comedy music on Spotify, which you should check out.
My aunt and uncle and the rest of my cousins and their kids were also there, so we got to see all of the Minnesota family, which was nice. Things got a bit awkward toward the end of the party when someone got a little drunk and started scolding people. Otherwise, it was lovely.
Phoebe
We also got to meet their dog, Phoebe. I love her. She is a bigger dog than I could handle, but she’s very sweet (especially if you have food) and well-behaved. Just look at that face!
After the Party
Jeff and I stayed after the rest of the guests left so we could continue to visit with the birthday boys. Jeff and Jason talked about wrestling and then Jeff showed the kids some of the youtube videos he’s made over the years.
It was nice to see these family members. We don’t get to see them nearly often enough. We always say we are going to visit more, but life happens and we don’t.
