Orchard

The Apple Store

This was actually over a week ago now, but my parents and nephew came to Green Bay to go to The Apple Store (they sell apples and pies and such, not iPhones) and go out to eat with me and Jeff.

Misty Ridge Orchard

It was a really nice fall day, so after The Apple Store and lunch at Chilis, we (minus Jeff) went to Misty Ridge Orchard, which isn’t far from my house. I had never been there, despite seeing signs for it around my house for many years.

The Orchard was really cute. The Apple Cider donuts they made were fresh baked and delicious. Outside of the little shop and cafe, there was a playground for kids, including a sandbox/sandhill area with toys and a tunnel for them to run through. There were some donkeys and goats in the little petting zoo and a mini corn maze.

My nephew, Stephen, ordered donuts with Mom and played on the swings with Dad.

I went over by the petting zoo and spent some time with one of the donkeys.

I didn’t go through the corn maze, but Stephen decided to run through it and mom had to chase after him. She was not very happy when she dragged him out of it.

We didn’t stay too long. Stephen was running rampant and none of us had the energy to keep up with him. It’s a really cute orchard. If we are still in the area next fall, I will make sure to return for those Apple Cider donuts!
